We are so thankful for everyone who participated in this year's event. There were many ups and downs during this event, but most importantly, with over 200 participants and 50 volunteers, we were able to raise over $5000 to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for lung cancer research. While there were many challenges faced, we truly appreciate everyone's understanding and feedback, and we could not have done this without the help of our participants and our volunteers.
This has been an incredible learning experience for us. To host a more successful event, we realized we needed more help. Having recently elected our new team of passionate individuals, we are excited to see what we can accomplish this year.
While this may be my last semester serving as president of Legwork for Lungs, I am proud of what we have accomplished, and I am committed to guiding these future leaders towards success.
